Raid Shadow Legends Tier List (September 2026): Best Champions, Factions, Teams, and Progression Guide

Type:Blog Date: Author:admin Read:2

RAID: Shadow Legends has reached the point where a simple “Legendary equals good” rule is completely useless. Between Mythical champions, new factions, Relics, Blessings, Hard dungeons, Hydra, Chimera, Cursed City, Siege, Grim Forest, Champion Proving Grounds, and increasingly complicated Arena teams, the value of a champion depends heavily on where you plan to use them.

Raid Shadow Legends Tier List (September 2026): Best Champions, Factions, Teams, and Progression Guide

This raid shadow legends tier list is built around the September 2026 meta. I’m judging champions by actual account impact rather than rarity alone. A champion who carries Hydra, Chimera, Arena, and dungeon progression naturally ranks higher than someone who only shines in one obscure encounter.

The list also corrects several faction and role mistakes that still appear in outdated RAID guides. If you are returning after a few years, that matters a lot—the game has changed dramatically.

I. Introduction to Raid Shadow Legends Tier List

A. What Is RAID and Why Tier Lists Matter?

RAID is a turn-based RPG built around collecting champions, gearing them, developing masteries, ascending them, awakening them, and combining their skills into optimized teams.

The important part is team interaction. Decrease DEF, Weaken, Increase SPD, Block Debuffs, Ally Protection, Increase ATK, revives, Turn Meter manipulation, crowd control, HP Burn, Poison, Hex, and Enemy MAX HP damage can be worth more than another raw nuker.

Tier lists therefore help answer the real question: who deserves your books, six-star promotion, masteries, gear, Souls, and silver first?

B. How This Tier List Is Updated – September 2026 Meta

This ranking considers Hydra, Chimera, Demon Lord, Doom Tower, Sintranos, Grim Forest, dungeons, Arena, Siege, Faction Wars, and general progression.

RAID 11.75 also changed summoning systems and rebalanced Mercurial gear, while Echoes of Oz is the major September event.

C. Who Should Use This Guide?

New players can use it to avoid wasting Legendary books. Returning players can identify which older champions still hold up. Veterans can use the faction and endgame sections as a quick roster checklist.

II. Raid Shadow Legends Tier List Overview – September 2026

A. S+ Tier

My broad S+ group includes Glorious Pallas, Joan the Luminant, Starsage Galathir, Armanz the Magnificent, Lydia the Deathsiren, Komidus Darksmile, Acrizia, Embrys the Anomaly, Lady Mikage, Hierophant Lazarius, Gizmak the Terrible, Siegfrund the Nephilim, and other elite Mythical or specialist champions.

Not every one is equally strong everywhere, but these champions can reshape an account.

B. S Tier

This tier contains excellent champions whose value is slightly more mode-dependent: Krisk, Duchess Lilitu, Prince Kymar, Mithrala Lifebane, Marichka, Taras, Underpriest Brogni, Wallmaster Othorion, Marius, Nais, Ash'nar, and many modern Mythicals and Voids.

C. A Tier

A-tier champions are still worth building when they solve a clear problem. Think Siegfrund-type specialized carries, older top Legendaries, strong Epics such as Geomancer, Demytha and Uugo, or faction-specific specialists.

D. B/C Tier

This tier is where old Legendaries with power-crept kits, mediocre Epics, and champions requiring too much investment for too little return belong.

That does not mean “never use them.” Sintranos and Faction Wars regularly turn forgotten champions into useful pieces.

III. Top S+ Tier Characters Ranked

A. Glorious Pallas – Elite Support and Team Protector

Pallas is one of the standout Argonites. Her kit offers team revival, cleansing, Block Debuffs, Strengthen, speed support, Turn Meter assistance, shielding, and the newer Fervor mechanic.

That is the kind of champion I love investing in because she does not depend on one dungeon gimmick. She can stabilize progression teams while remaining relevant in serious endgame content.

B. Joan the Luminant – Banner Lords Mythical Powerhouse

Joan is more interesting than a simple “hypercarry.” Her base form brings powerful support and revival tools, while her alternate form converts high RES investment into serious offensive pressure.

She is especially dangerous because the same Resistance that makes her difficult to control can contribute to her damage plan.

C. Armanz the Magnificent – Control King

Armanz is not primarily a damage dealer. His real strength is making sure enemies barely get to play.

Turn Meter stealing, Stun, Sheep, and cooldown disruption make him terrifying in Arena and outstanding against waves. Against bosses immune to Turn Meter manipulation, his value drops sharply.

D. Lydia the Deathsiren – Universal Debuff Support

Lydia is another champion often mislabeled as DPS.

Her real prize is the combination of AoE Decrease DEF and Weaken, Increase SPD, Strengthen, Block Buffs, Block Active Skills, and anti-revive utility. She remains one of the best progression rewards in RAID.

E. Komidus Darksmile – Control and Bomb Specialist

Komidus is a Demonspawn Mythical who changes completely when he Metamorphs.

His base form strips buffs, locks active skills, manipulates Turn Meter, and disrupts enemy rotations. His alternate form becomes a bomb specialist that can punish Stoneskin-heavy Arena teams.

F. Acrizia – Dwarf Boss Destroyer

Acrizia is still one of my favorite boss champions because Enemy MAX HP damage scales so naturally into high-HP encounters.

She excels against Hydra heads, dungeon bosses, Doom Tower bosses, and many other targets where normal ATK-based damage struggles to keep pace.

G. Starsage Galathir – High Elf Support Monster

Galathir is closer to an elite support/controller than a traditional AoE mage.

One form brings cleansing, healing, revival, Block Debuffs, and Turn Meter support. The other attacks enemy Resistance and Accuracy while applying control.

H. Embrys the Anomaly – Arena and Chimera Specialist

Embrys is a Knights Revenant Mythical built around debuff transformation, Necrosis, and Metamorph-based damage.

He is particularly nasty in Arena and Chimera, where manipulating buffs and debuffs can be more important than brute force.

IV. Best Argonites Faction Champions

The outline originally placed Mythicals from multiple factions here. Actual Argonite priorities are much different.

A. Glorious Pallas

Pallas is currently the easiest Argonite to recommend for broad account value because high-end support ages extremely well.

B. Thisbe

Thisbe is another premium Argonite and belongs near the top of the faction's provisional rankings.

C. Pelops the Victor

Pelops arrived as a major 2026 anniversary champion and gives the young faction another high-value Legendary.

D. Tekteon

Tekteon is one of the faction's more useful developed-account options and deserves consideration as Argonite rosters grow.

E. Kassandra and Acolyte

Kassandra arrived through the Assassin's Creed collaboration and helped establish the faction, while Acolyte is useful for filling early Argonite depth.

Argonites still do not have their own Faction Crypt in 2026, so I would not six-star mediocre members purely for Faction Wars yet.

V. Best Banner Lords Faction Champions

Banner Lords have one of the deepest rosters in RAID, and the enormous list in the outline mixes correct champions with several inaccurate role descriptions.

At the top, Joan the Luminant, Marichka the Unbreakable, Taras the Fierce, Baron, Staltus Dragonbane, Quintus the Triumphant, Sigmund the Highshield, Septimus, Ronda, Black Knight, Lady Annabelle, Archmage Hellmut, and Sethallia all have legitimate uses.

Joan is the premium Mythical. Marichka is an extraordinary reviver and PvP support. Taras remains a dangerous HP-based nuker. Baron can still hit brutally hard, while Staltus provides durable DEF-based damage and excellent anti-debuff utility.

For developing accounts, Archmage Hellmut, Lady Annabelle and Sigmund are often more practical than chasing a glamorous nuker. Lower-rarity Banner Lords such as Valerie, Oathbound, Warcaster and others can still fill specific Faction Wars or boss roles.

The main lesson is not to invest simply because a champion belongs to Banner Lords. The faction is deep enough that average champions become replaceable quickly.

VI. Best Barbarians Faction Champions

The Barbarian faction has both old staples and some of RAID's most memorable limited champions.

For broad value, Armanz the Magnificent, Thor Faehammer, Scyl of the Drakes, Tuhanarak, Valkyrie, Odin Faefather, Freyja Fateweaver, R. Nergigante Archer, Yakarl the Scourge, High Khatun, Fahrakin the Fat, Skytouched Shaman, Ursuga Warcaller, Alsgor Crimsonhorn, Crohnam, Kantra, and Elder Skarg stand out.

Armanz owns wave control. Thor is an excellent damage dealer. Scyl remains one of the best free progression champions thanks to healing, revive, speed control, and Stun. Tuhanarak offers premium cleansing and debuff support, while Valkyrie remains famous for enormous shields and counterattack.

Among Epics, Fahrakin deserves special mention. Ally Attack, Crit buffs, Poison, and HP Burn give him incredible boss utility.

Lower-rarity Barbarians such as Warmaiden and Soulbond Bowyer are still useful early, but I would not pour endgame resources into every Rare just because they helped clear campaign.

VII. Best Dark Elves Faction Champions

A. Coldheart

Coldheart is not really an AoE nuker. She is a Rare boss specialist whose Heartseeker combines Enemy MAX HP damage with Turn Meter reduction.

She remains absurdly useful for her rarity.

B. Kael

Kael remains my preferred beginner starter because Poison makes him useful beyond campaign farming.

C. Mithrala Lifebane

Mithrala is one of the best free endgame rewards, offering Petrification, shields, cleansing, buffs, and extraordinary Resistance scaling.

D. Supreme Kael and Blind Seer

Supreme Kael offers advanced Poison/debuff utility, while Blind Seer remains valuable for Block Damage and revival.

Duchess Lilitu and Prince Kymar are Demonspawn, Bad-el-Kazar and Ma'Shalled are Undead Hordes, and Skullcrown is Knights Revenant—not Dark Elves.

VIII. Best Demonspawn Faction Champions

A. Duchess Lilitu

Still one of RAID's most complete supports: revive, Perfect Veil, Block Debuffs, and damage mitigation make her useful nearly everywhere.

B. Prince Kymar

Kymar's reset remains his defining skill. Resetting allied cooldowns enables some of the fastest dungeon and wave teams in the game.

C. Komidus Darksmile

Komidus brings Mythical-level control and bomb mechanics.

D. Other Priorities

Add champions such as Wythir, Helicath, Kymar, Duchess, Mortu-Macaab and other mode-specific Demonspawn according to your roster.

Lydia belongs to Dark Elves.

IX. Best Dwarves Faction Champions

A. Acrizia

The faction's premier boss killer.

B. Underpriest Brogni

Shields, Block Debuffs, reflection-style damage interactions, and sustain keep Brogni valuable.

C. Tormin the Cold

Excellent control against Turn Meter and buff-heavy enemy teams.

D. Trunda Giltmallet

A legendary damage dealer whose relevance has shifted over time but who can still smash the right content.

E. Geomancer

Geomancer is not an AoE mage. He is an Epic HP Burn/boss specialist whose passive can produce ridiculous boss damage.

F. Demytha

Demytha is a Dwarf Epic support famous for Block Damage teams in Demon Lord.

Maulie, Melga, Rugnor, and Grizzled Jarl remain useful faction specialists.

X. Best High Elves Faction Champions

A. Starsage Galathir

The premium Mythical choice for cleansing, revival, Turn Meter support, and control.

B. Wallmaster Othorion

A very strong High Elf with excellent PvE and boss utility.

C. Lyssandra

Lyssandra is a speed and Turn Meter controller—not primarily a healer.

D. Tayrel

Tayrel is a classic Decrease DEF and Decrease ATK Epic who remains excellent for developing accounts.

E. Royal Guard

Royal Guard is a damage dealer, not a tank. His Enemy MAX HP attack still destroys bosses when damage caps and encounter mechanics allow it.

Fyna Blade of Aravia, Royal Huntsman, Neldor Rimeblade, and Apothecary round out useful High Elf options.

XI. Best Knights Revenant Faction Champions

A. Embrys the Anomaly

The clear premium Mythical name here for current endgame accounts.

B. Skullcrown

Still a useful Void Epic AoE attacker and Arena farmer, although modern nukers have surpassed her.

C. Rector Drath and Doompriest

These two remain practical progression supports thanks to revival, healing, cleansing, and passive utility.

Tormin belongs to Dwarves, so he should not be included in a Knights Revenant ranking.

XII. Best Lizardmen Faction Champions

A. Krisk the Ageless

Krisk remains an elite defensive support with Ally Protection, Provoke, shields, and useful debuffs.

B. Hierophant Lazarius

The faction's premier Mythical, combining support in one form with serious offensive potential in the other.

C. Rhazin Scarhide

Rhazin remains a useful accessible Legendary for boss content, although he is no longer top-tier by modern standards.

Ramantu, Nekmo Thaar and Pythion are other major Lizardmen worth building.

XIII. Best Ogryn Tribes Faction Champions

Gizmak the Terrible is the headline Mythical and can combine tremendous utility with damage.

Beyond Gizmak, Uugo, Graazur Irongut, Maneater, Skullcrusher and Bellower all deserve attention.

Uugo is particularly valuable because Block Buffs is one of Hydra's most important debuffs, while Maneater remains famous for unkillable Demon Lord teams.

XIV. Best Orcs Faction Champions

Ash'nar Dragonsoul is the faction's Mythical centerpiece.

Other excellent Orcs include Seer, Artak, Warlord, Teela Goremane, Zargala and Iron Brago depending on content.

Seer remains one of the most important speed-farming Epics ever released because Karma Burn can erase heavily buffed waves.

XV. Best Sacred Order Faction Champions

A. Siegfrund the Nephilim

Siegfrund is the premium Mythical hybrid and one of the faction's strongest overall champions.

B. Cardiel

Cardiel remains an exceptional Void support thanks to Ally Attack, cleansing, Block Debuffs, Crit support, and revival mechanics.

C. Godseeker Aniri

One of RAID's best Epics, especially for Sand Devil and difficult boss strategies.

D. Deacon Armstrong

Speed, Turn Meter control, and AoE Decrease DEF make Deacon fantastic for early and midgame teams.

Martyr, Venus, Sir Nicholas, Highmother Maud and other Sacred Order Legendaries retain specialized value.

XVI. Best Shadowkin Faction Champions

Lady Mikage is the obvious headline Mythical. Her Ally Attack and alternate-form utility make her valuable in Fire Knight, bosses, Arena, and general progression.

Other high-value Shadowkin include Ninja, Yumeko, Riho Bonespear, Michinaki and Kyoku.

If you have Mikage, build around what her team-wide attacks enable rather than judging her by personal damage alone.

XVII. Best Skinwalkers Faction Champions

Marius the Gallant is an account-changing progression reward and one of the strongest Skinwalkers.

The faction also includes Razelvarg, Ukko, Ragash, Gnishak Verminlord and the Cowardly Lion.

The Cowardly Lion is especially relevant in September 2026 because he is the current Echoes of Oz Fusion champion.

XVIII. Best Sylvan Watchers Faction Champions

Nais the Shadowthief is the headline Mythical.

The faction also has excellent options such as Elva Autumnborn, Emic Trunkheart, Oella, Eostrid Dreamsong and White Dryad Nia.

Elva remains one of the most comfortable progression champions in the faction because speed, healing, cleansing, Block Debuffs, and revive all solve common problems.

XIX. Best Undead Hordes Faction Champions

A. Bad-el-Kazar

Still a fantastic cleaner, healer, and Poison enabler.

B. Ma'Shalled

Brings strong speed manipulation, True Fear, healing, and damage.

C. Other Priorities

Siphi the Lost Bride, Rotos, Nekhret, UDK and Gorgorab remain important depending on PvE or PvP goals.

Theodosia the Disgraced does not match the established Undead roster information I would rely on for a current tier recommendation, so I would not recommend investing based solely on that name without checking the live client.

XX. Team Composition Fundamentals

A. Faction Synergy

Outside Faction Wars, mono-faction teams are rarely mandatory.

Build around skills instead: Decrease DEF, Weaken, speed control, survivability, healing, debuff protection, and the boss mechanic.

B. Ideal Structure

“Two DPS + two supports + one tank” is only a template.

A Clan Boss team may use one damage dealer and four enablers. Arena may run a speed lead, booster, debuffer and nuker. Hydra teams require six champions.

C. Beginner Banner Lords Team

Joan is not a realistic beginner target.

A practical faction team could use accessible Banner Lords such as Archmage Hellmut, Sigmund, Lady Annabelle, Oathbound and another developed damage dealer.

D. Beginner Barbarians Team

A realistic Barbarian core is Scyl / High Khatun / Warmaiden / Fahrakin / damage flex rather than expecting several difficult Legendaries.

E. Hybrid Endgame Teams

Endgame RAID is mostly hybrid-faction team building.

Bring the right mechanic, not the right banner.

XXI. Campaign and Doom Tower Teams

Campaign progression should focus on getting one champion to Rank 6 quickly. Kael remains excellent because he farms campaign and contributes Poison to early bosses.

Doom Tower Hard is different. Control champions such as Armanz, reset champions such as Kymar, strong revivers, Seer-style wave clear, and boss-specific specialists become much more important.

RAID does not use “energy generation” during battles like some RPGs; the equivalent concepts are Speed, Turn Meter, cooldowns and skill order.

XXII. Hydra, Chimera, Dragon, and Faction Wars Strategies

A. Hydra

Hydra wants Block Buffs, Provoke, Decrease SPD, Hex, cleansing, healing, and reliable damage. Uugo, Mithrala, Acrizia, Nekmo, Shamael and similar specialists remain strong.

B. Chimera

Chimera rewards deeper tactical planning because Trials and forms can dramatically change scoring priorities. Embrys and versatile Mythicals have particularly strong value here.

C. Dragon

Poison, survivability and efficient wave clear remain reliable. Kael can carry early Dragon progression surprisingly far.

D. Faction Wars

Faction Wars is about usable depth rather than five perfect Legendaries. Completing every existing Crypt with three stars eventually unlocks Lydia.

Argonites still lack a Faction Crypt in 2026.

XXIII. Clan Boss and Arena Teams

A. Demon Lord

Poison, Decrease ATK, Weaken, Counterattack, Ally Attack and speed-tuned Block Damage/Unkillable setups remain the classic routes.

Demytha and Maneater are still incredibly important because they enable specialized survival compositions.

B. Arena

Arena priorities are completely different: Speed, Stoneskin/Mercurial interaction, Provoke, cooldown manipulation, buff stripping and burst become dominant.

C. Turn Order

Your speed booster or controller generally needs to act before your nuker.

D. Counter-Picking

Counter mechanics rather than faction. Armanz destroys teams that cannot resist his control; Bomb champions can punish certain defensive setups; Provoke has gained extra relevance against Mercurial Total Guard.

E–G. Arena, Tag Team, and Counters

Build multiple complete teams rather than splitting all your strongest supports across three bad ones.

Live Arena especially rewards flexible champions such as Galathir, Joan, Komidus, Pallas and other multi-role threats.

XXIV. Cursed City, Siege Mode, and Iron Twins Guides

Sintranos rewards roster depth more than almost any older RAID mode because stage restrictions force you to build unusual champions.

Siege is more PvP-oriented, where Stoneskin, Mercurial, lockout, revivers and speed tuning matter heavily.

Iron Twins remains important for Soul resources. Speed control, survivability, and HP Burn strategies are typically much more reliable than trying to brute-force it with random Arena nukers.

XXV. Fire Knight, “Wood Golem,” Sand Devil, Ice Golem, Spider, and Dragon Teams

A. Fire Knight

Multi-hit attacks, Ally Attack, Counterattack, Turn Meter reduction and Freeze for Hard mode are key.

B. “Wood Golem”

There is no standard RAID dungeon named Wood Golem. Modern RAID instead includes content such as Grim Forest and Champion Proving Grounds alongside established dungeons.

C. Sand Devil

Sleep and survivability mechanics matter heavily. Godseeker Aniri remains famous for specialized Sand Devil teams.

D. Ice Golem

Control the waves and respect the boss's revenge hits. Over-aggressive nuking at the wrong HP threshold can wipe a team.

E. Spider

Turn Meter control, HP Burn and Enemy MAX HP damage remain excellent, depending on difficulty.

F. Dragon

Poison and stable wave clearing remain beginner-friendly.

G. Dungeon Farming

Do not chase Stage 25 simply because it is higher. Farm the stage giving the best combination of success rate, time and energy efficiency for your account.

XXVI. Raid Shadow Legends Reroll Guide – 2026

A. Step-by-Step Reroll Tutorial

RAID is not a game where I recommend hardcore rerolling.

Start with Kael, finish the tutorial, claim available promo rewards, and begin progressing. A good Epic can matter more than spending days rerolling for an impossible jackpot.

B. Best Starter Targets

Pallas, Joan, Armanz and Lydia are terrible reroll targets.

Lydia is earned through Faction Wars, Joan is a Mythical and extremely rare, while Pallas and Armanz are not reliable starter pulls.

For 2026 new-player codes, champions such as Demytha, Uugo, Apothecary or other currently eligible guaranteed-code options provide much more realistic value.

C. When to Restart

Restart if you picked a starter you regret or completely mismanaged the opening account—not because your first Ancient Shard failed to produce a Legendary.

D. Common Mistakes

Do not feed Epics, waste Legendary books on Rares, or six-star several champions before finishing your campaign farmer.

E. Free Legendary Acquisition

RAID offers long-term guaranteed champions through missions, logins and content. Examples include Arbiter, Scyl of the Drakes, Lydia, Mithrala, Doom Tower fragment champions, and event rewards.

During Echoes of Oz, Dorothy Gale is also obtainable through the login Chase event.

XXVII. Gacha Summon and Selective Strategy

A. September Summon Environment

September is dominated by Echoes of Oz and the new 11.75 summon changes.

Standard targeted Summon Boosts have increased, while Progressive Chance now climbs through stronger multipliers.

B. Should You Pull the Latest Legendary?

Only if the event overlaps something else you already want—Fusion, Champion Chase, Summon Rush, guaranteed progression, or an exceptionally strong targeted champion.

Never pull Sacred Shards simply because the portal is glowing.

C. Selective Summons

RAID does not have a permanent conventional “select any champion” banner.

Progressive Chance lets you target specific champions more heavily, but it never guarantees that your next Legendary is the selected one unless the event explicitly says so.

D. Wishlist Priority

There is no Heroic-Tavern-style permanent wishlist.

If Pallas, Joan, Armanz, Galathir or another premium champion appears in Progressive Chance, decide based on your account and pity state.

E. Legendary vs Epic

A top Epic such as Demytha, Uugo, Seer, Geomancer, Godseeker Aniri or Maneater can be worth more than a mediocre Legendary.

F. Limited vs Standard

Keep collaboration and event availability in mind. Some champions can disappear from acquisition for long periods.

XXVIII. Champion Investment and Ascension Priority

A. “Legendary+” Investment

RAID does not use a Legendary+ ascension tier. Champions are ranked from one to six stars, ascended with potions, and can separately be Awakened through Souls.

B. Masteries

DPS champions usually work toward offense-tree damage masteries such as Warmaster or Giant Slayer for bosses where appropriate. Supports often use Support or Defense trees depending on Accuracy and survivability needs.

C. Gear

Early game: stats over sets.

A fast champion in mismatched gear is better than a slow champion wearing a complete Speed set with terrible substats.

D. Artifact Upgrades

Upgrade strong gloves, chestplates, boots and accessories first. Do not take every five-star Rare artifact to 6 just because it dropped from Dragon.

E. F2P Six-Star Priority

First: campaign farmer.
Second: Clan Boss core.
Third: dungeon support.
Then expand into Arena, Faction Wars and advanced content.

F. Resources

Silver disappears incredibly quickly. Books are even more dangerous to waste.

Legendary and Mythical books should only go into champions you know you will use.

XXIX. New Player Progression Roadmap

A. Story Progression

Push campaign until you can farm Brutal 12-3 efficiently.

B. Daily and Weekly Routine

Complete quests, use Clan Boss keys, spend energy efficiently, participate in Arena, and never ignore time-limited Fusion/Event objectives you have committed to.

C. Energy Optimization

Save refills for useful tournaments, dungeon events, Fusions, Champion Training and artifact farming.

D. Shop Priorities

Gems are extremely valuable. Early on, using gems to unlock a starter's full masteries can accelerate progression dramatically.

E. Event Priorities

Do not try to complete every event. Choose the rewards that actually improve your account.

F. “AFK Stage 0–300”

RAID does not have AFK stages numbered 0–300 or 600+.

Progression is measured through campaign chapters, dungeon stages, Clan Boss difficulties, Doom Tower, Faction Wars, Sintranos, Arena tiers and other content.

G. Clan Participation

Join an active Clan early. Demon Lord chests are among the most important repeatable sources of Shards and books.

H. September 2026 Promo Codes

One current September code worth trying is:

RAIDAutumn – 5-star Chicken, 300,000 Silver and 50 Multi-Battles.

New accounts should also check the current new-player codes before redeeming anything because only one new-player champion code can normally be chosen.

Codes expire, so redeem them promptly rather than saving them.

XXX. Common Mistakes to Avoid in Team Building

A. Ignoring Champion Synergy

RAID does not reward mono-faction teams outside restricted content. Build around buffs, debuffs, speed and boss mechanics.

B. Over-Investing in Old Legendaries

A Legendary border is not a reason to spend 12 books.

C. Neglecting Real Universal Supports

Pallas is excellent, but Tayrel and Lyssandra are not “universal supports” in quite the same way. Champions such as Duchess, Pallas, Lydia, Galathir, Mithrala, Arbiter and Pythion better represent high-end broad utility.

D. Poor Positioning and AI Setup

RAID does not have grid positioning, but team slot order still matters for Ally Protection, certain passives and AI interactions.

More importantly, use Team Setup to control skill priorities.

E. Skipping Events

Events are where many of RAID's guaranteed champions and high-value resources come from.

F. Bad “Wishlist” Choices

Because there is no permanent wishlist, the real mistake is pulling during weak summon events or targeting champions you do not need.

G. Building Too Many Champions

This is probably the biggest beginner mistake.

One properly geared Rank 6 champion with masteries is usually more useful than five Rank 5 projects.

Conclusion

A useful raid shadow legends tier list in September 2026 has to do more than rank champions by rarity. RAID now has too many modes and too many specialized mechanics for one static S-tier row to tell the whole story.

Glorious Pallas is exceptional because she can protect, cleanse, revive and accelerate a team. Joan the Luminant combines elite support with a dangerous alternate form. Armanz remains one of the nastiest control champions in the game. Lydia still rewards players who finish Faction Wars with a toolkit that works almost everywhere. Acrizia is a boss-killing machine, while Galathir and Komidus show exactly why Mythical champions can feel like two champions packed into one slot.

At the same time, you should never ignore Epics and Rares. Coldheart can embarrass Legendaries against bosses. Geomancer remains incredible in specialized PvE. Demytha can unlock Clan Boss compositions worth months of progression, and Kael is still a perfectly sensible first champion.

For new players, my advice is simple: choose Kael, build one Rank 6 first, reach reliable Clan Boss rewards, farm useful dungeon gear, and save scarce books. Don't reroll for Lydia. Don't assume every Legendary is S-tier. Don't spend shards outside useful events simply because you are impatient.

For veterans, the September 2026 meta is about roster depth. Hydra, Chimera, Sintranos, Grim Forest, Siege, Live Arena and Champion Proving Grounds all reward having different answers available. The best account is no longer the one with a single unbeatable five-champion team.

And that is why this raid shadow legends tier list should be used as an investment map rather than a rulebook. Check what content is holding your account back, identify the champion who solves that problem, then build them properly. In RAID, a well-geared A-tier specialist doing the correct job will beat a badly built S+ Mythical surprisingly often.
